The Student Spotlight Magazine wa sfounded in 2024 under the Northern Territory Students Society (NTSS). Through months of hard work by our team members and supporting teachers, our project grew rapidly. In the future, we hope to be introduced into more schools and communities in the Northern Territory and create a platform for young people to share their ideas through literature exchange. 

The beauty of journalism is that it allows students to understand the different perspectives in our society, and this is crucial when social media algorithms rule our world of truth. ‘Student Spotlight’, a magazine written for students and by students, incorporates the different voices in the youth community within the Northern Territory. It also sheds light on passionate young students who are often ignored by the mainstream media due to their age and impact, allowing the stories of youths in the NT to be told. Let us dive into the world of their inspiring stories and imaginations and learn more about our young generation.
