It is so amazing to see the release of our 10th issue. As our Student Society community continues to grow, it is bewildering to see all the support from our spoounrsors, schools, teachers, students, organisations, parents and even members of the Department of Education and the Government.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of every issue of the Student Spotlight, from all our student writers, journalists, editors, artists, photographers, graphic designers and supporting school staff, Ms Erin Shannon, Mr Trilo Chanmugam, Ms Sally Walker and Mr Joe Hewett. I would also like to thank our community partners LAUNCH Darwin, City of Darwin and Darwin High School for endorsing and believing in our mission and helping us to reach young people in the community.
Even as we are releasing our 10th issue, it is still so inspiring to see all the amazing achievements of young people in the Northern Territory. Not only are young people stiving to accomplish amazing things, our journalists are going out into the community to discover the fantastic events Darwin has to offer as we come into the dry season. Our journalists have been working hard to create exceptional, independent, youth focused journalism.
The Student Spotlight is dedicated to our mission of celebrating and informing the youth of the NT. So as we celebrate our 10 issue, we also look forward to many more to come.
